Parking Lot Service
We held our LightHouse service in the parking lot several Sunday's at 5:30 PM due to Covid in 2020. Due to Social Distancing & Staying Safe - We encouraged everyone to keep their distance from other cars, sit in their cars and roll down their windows. Our worship band lead worship & Bro. Roy presented the message. Messages were also online through facebook live.
Easter Parking Lot Service 2020
Due to the Coronovirus, we had our Easter Service in the Parking Lot at the church. We kept our distances, park at a safe distances from others. We had speakers set up so everyone could hear the message from their cars. It was good to get to congregate once again and see each others faces and worship together.
Resurrection Class Coming Soon
We meet on an as needed basis weekly on Tuesdays for an on-going 16-week program on overcoming addiction (addiction of all sorts). This is a biblically based program. If you or someone you know would benefit from this program, please feel free to contact Bro. Roy so we will see if there is a need for this class to begin meeting again.
Church Work Day
We have several repairs to make to the building and will be planning another church work day to finish up these projects. We usually start at 8:30 AM. Work until around 2 or so.
Prayer in Our Homes
Make time in your home every Tuesday to set aside a time for prayer. Commit to pray for the needs on our prayer list and any other specific prayer needs. Gather together with others and pray as a team. Pray for the community and sorrounding areas of Corum. Seek God's direction for CBC.
Musician Needed on Sunday for Worship Services
We are looking for someone who would love to come and join our fellowship on Sundays to help out in our music ministry. We are specifically looking for musicians (piano and/or guitar) to assist in leading worship. We have blended worship on Sunday mornings and Contemporary worship on Sunday nights.
Spring or Fall Bazaar
Every year we organize and run a Fundraising Sale of goods (both used and new) to benefit the Baptist Girls Home in Madill, Oklahoma. Our gym will be filled with all sorts of items. As part of this fundraiser, we will be serving a lunch meal for a set price to benefit the girls home. Mark your calendars and plan to come shop and set down and enjoy our delicious meal. Don't forget to enjoy some fellowship too.
Celebrating 3-YEARS of The LightHouse this January 2022
It has been an amazing 3-years at the LightHouse. God has done great things here and we look forward to the plans He has for 2022 for the LightHouse. So many new relationships built through the LightHouse. New faces continuing to come and be a part of this ministry. We launched facebook live through the LightHouse and have been able to share the messages of God's Holy Word on the internet reaching countless others.
Oklahoma Baptist Advance Conference
Yearly event - the Advance Conference (evangelism conference) in the City. Get a chance to revive yourself and take a break and listen to others preach. Soak it in. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event. You won't be sorry you went and if you miss it then you have missed a blessing.
