Children & Youth Ministry

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6

I enjoy teaching children and youth but would be lying if I said it was never a challenge. However, that challenge is far outweighed by the rewards and blessings you as the teacher recieve. When you get to see a student light up with joy when they understand the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ it is difficult to find the words to explain just how you feel. We are blessed to see students grow up and mature into young adults. We also get to be a part of them growing to love God just as we do.

I have been blessed to serve in Youth ministry along side some awesome adults and teach some truly wonderful young people. I miss everyone of them as they grow up and move on in life. I pray each of them hold on to the scriptures and bible teachings that we have taught them.

Our students meet every Wednesday night at 6 PM for an indepth lesson from God's word taught by my wife, Karen. We usually have some sort of snack for them to eat (sometimes a meal) after the lesson. The students enjoy free time to hang out and play games with friends before going home.

If you are a student in the 6th -12th grades and would like to attend church but do not have a ride, please let me know. We have a van ministry and can make arrangements to pick you up and drop you off.

Fifth Sunday

Observe the Lord's Supper

We tradionally have our Lord's Supper on the fifth Sunday. We use this time to honor God through observance of the Lord's Supper in both our morning service and in the evening service. We have open communion, with the only exception being you must be born again to partake of the elements.
