Addiction Recovery Program

Are you ready to make a change in your life? Have you come to the point where you know that you need help? Is there something missing and you are searching for what will give you hope and a peace through lifes journeys? Have you ever wondered why you can't seem to do it on your own? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, than this program is the place you need to be. We offer a 16-week program where we come together, greet one another in love, share some words from the lesson materials and share some thoughts and life experiences with the group. This is a place where you can open up and begin to heal while moving one step closer to recovery each week. We would love for you to come and be a part of this program. Even if you just want to come check it out and sit in a few weeks to see if you are ready. Even if you aren't ready, you can still come and be a part of the group.

Freedom Reigns written by Tammy Akerman is a 16-week program designed to walk you from addiction into recovery. Each week you will recieve your own copy of the lesson materials. We will begin the meeting with worship and prayer and end with worship and prayer. You will hear stories from people who have been down the road of addiction and are fully recovered. There is hope in recovery and you to can recieve this same hope. It isn't a quick fix to your problems but a long term solution to a new way of thinking and living.

Because this is an ongoing program you can begin coming at any time and make up the classes you missed once we start the next 16-weeks over. So don't worry if you missed the beginning or have an emergency and miss a class. We will keep track of your attendance each week so you will know which weeks you may of missed. Pastor Roy will also sign off that you have attended and give you a sheet with his signature if needed.

RECOVERY: It will be challenging. It will also be worth it. You will relapse, and that's okay, as long as you keep fighting.

Weekly Prayer

Tuesday Evening Home Prayer

With all our busy schedules with our people living in all different directions from the church, we decided to make our Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting a time where we can gather in our homes with our families (or invite someone over or spend time alone with God) at 6:30 PM for at least an hour to pray over our church prayer list and other specific prayer needs. We started the Tuesday Prayer Meeting in July of 2019. We have been praying for CBC, for community of Corum, the homes with 5 miles in all directions from CBC and other specific names of people we have gone and visited on outreach. We have prayed for the LightHouse service and for those who are attending and those who will be attending. We have prayed for all the families who attend and have attended CBC in the last few years. God laid a burden on mine and Karen's heart to pray for CBC and Corum and 5 miles radius of CBC and will continue praying until God gives us a release.

Sunday Prayer

Sunday Morning Intercessory Prayer

We spend time every Sunday morning during our Worship Service time praying over HEARTS. Each of these Hearts has a name written on it. These names come from our church members through family, friends, and even strangers who have a need for prayer. These needs could be medical, salvation, spiritual, cancer, private, etc. We usually do not know the exact need but we know that God knows the need, hears our prayers and answers according to His perfect will. So I want to encourage you that if you have a prayer need don't hesitate to ask someone to pray with you over that need. Pray is an important part of every believer life just as it is an important part of corporate worship.

If you have a prayer need, please send us a message through our contact page. Be specific as you can be in order for us to know what to pray for. Please list if you want this prayer need to be public for our church members or private for my wife and myself to pray over. 1 Timothy 2:1-6 First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.
